Finally ! After some quite difficult days we managed to get to Berlin. The distance from Leipzig to Berlin is about 190Km, but we managed to take the wrong way up to Dresden and so it took us nearly 5 hours to get there !

Anyway, once we arrived in Berlin, things started to go how they should. First of all we reached the Subversiv, located in the center of East Berlin (in the Mitte area). There we found around 5 nice people from the project who helped us take all our stuff down the van, and store it somewhere waiting for the party. We had a little bit more chat with them and then we jumped again on the van, destination Kreuzberg. We were supposed to reach our friends there, but we found that our stomachs were deadly empty and so we stopped for a full indian dinner at Ahmed's restaurant.

The highlight of the evening in Kreuzberg was the football match between St. Pauli Hamburg and Monaco Bayern; being St. Pauli one of the few football teams with a truly anti-fascist supporter base, we joined some fans in a bar and watched the match, which unfortunately was won by the bavarian team. After that we moved to another cool bar in Kreuzberg called 'Die Rote Rose'; that's a really cool place, open 24h a day, totally kitsch in its decoration. And the music... it sounded like the 270beat were playing there ! 90s hits, commercial techno... we really felt at home. 

Anyways the day had been long and so we enoyed a good sleep in the Kinderbauenhof wagenplatz, which is also an incredible place, right in the middle of Kreuzberg and so quiet, with trees all around... so all in all Berlin gave us a very warm welcome. Today the weather is rather shitty but it will be shortly time for a walk in the Kreuzberg neighborhood.
